About This Chapter
In this chapter, we learn that the "Gowther" is not the same person as the "King of the Seven Deadly Sins" . He's just a different version of himself. The "King" wants to know what's going on with the "Melan-Scula" , so he tells them to go ahead and finish the gate. The two of them are totally confused. The King says that he's sensing that the magic is disappearing. He tells them that they can't go near the tower until the gates are closed. He says that the psyche is the one who erases memories. The psyche may be the person who stole all of your memories, he says, and that was 3,000 years ago. They're not the giant kings and fairy kings, the King says. They came from a land called Britain, 3,000 years into the future. The gates to the demon and demon worlds will be open soon, says the King. He asks why they're taking so long to open the gates, and the King explains that it's because they tricked him into making the gate by himself. He also says that it was all part of the plan to steal back his powers. The only reason he made the gate was so that he wouldn't have to go through the gates of hell. He doesn't want to draw the attention of the demon lord, who's been outside for 500 years. He wants to say goodbye to the world.
