In this chapter, we learn that the demons have returned to the Lion's castle, and that the knights have rescued the captives. We learn that some of the knights are still being held captive by the demons, but that the captain and his men are doing well. Eliza tells the king that she has come to talk to him about the situation. She tells him that she is safe and that she wants to know what is going on. The king tells her that he is sorry for the trouble he has caused, but he is glad to hear that the people of the kingdom have been saved. He says that he will form an alliance with the human beings to fight the demons. The knights are surprised to learn that their captain, meliodas, has not betrayed them. They are confident that the demon forces will not be able to stop him.
