This is a locked chapterChapter 57 - The Scene of a Far-Off Day
About This Chapter
"The deadly sins seven" is the title of this chapter. The monster is still alive, but not quite as he used to be. He's still under the illusion that he's back in the "far-off day" that he coveted, but the monster doesn't want to be born that way. The only way to kill the monster is to kill him already, but that's not what he'd call a fight. Instead, he just wants to be "born like this" . He thinks that liz has been brought back from the dead to remind him of her. She was once a knight from a neighboring country, but she rebelled against him and was captured and sentenced to death by the captain of the holy knights in danafall. The captain was the only one who saved her, though, and he was the one who called for her to be killed. Now that makes her all my now. She's also the lover of meliodas, and she's been calling him "meliodas" ever since. She even called him "mario das sama" , which means "him" in Portuguese. She also called him a "bastard," which is a fancy way of saying "monster." She also calls him "the bastard" because he is too strong to fight with a sword. He knows that, and that is why he does not carry a sword, because he knows that it's too easy for the monster to get a hold of him. The bastard has become a monster, he says, because of his own weakness. He wishes he could live longer, for his daughter, but his own weakness is the cause of everything. He wants to die, but he also wishes that the monster could be forgiven. He wonders what kind of "scene" it must have been to keep him under the spell of his "miserable existence," and he wonders if it could keep the monster
