Eliza, the goddess of the forest, is talking to the other goddess, Meliodas, about the story they're about to tell each other. Eliza says she's a goddess herself, and that she'll talk about it later, but first she wants to talk about the fact that the forest is covered in ancient vegetation. She thinks it's possible that this might be a prehistoric tribe, but she can't figure out how they could have been in the forest 3,000 years ago. They're going to have to act like a giant king and a fairy king, she says, since they've got to go through the forest to get to the fossilized forest. They hear about the human village that's under attack, but they don't know how to take on the many slovenly creatures that are swarming around them. The fairy king says he's the only one who's got the power to stop them, but Eliza points out that the demon's magic level is way higher than anything else. She says that the fairy king's power is that of piety, which means that if you want to get cursed by the demon, you should get out of his way.
