In this chapter, we learn that the "four arch angels" have returned to wreak havoc on the people of Camelot, and that Regan is determined to get rid of Elzbieta so that she will not be a threat to Regan's life. Regan tries to convince everyone that she is doing the right thing, but they all agree that she has done the wrong thing. Regan tells everyone that he is going to find the goddess Elizabeth and kill her. He tells everyone to stop the mob from attacking the castle because the "command of piety" has been lifted, and the "demons" have been ordered to stay out of the way. Regan asks if Martiros has done anything weird to Regan, and everyone agrees that he has. Regan says that Martiros is only trying to "become the demon lord" , and they have to kill him, even if it means that they will never see one another again
