In this chapter, Desdemona tells her master that she is going to kill him. She tells him that she has tried to eat his soul without asking. He tells her that if she had asked, he would have killed her herself. She begs him to let her go, but he tells her to stab him instead. When she does so, he stabs her in the back. She cries out, "my beloved meliodes is now dead. She asks him to take her to the castle, but when he does not, she wakes him up.
