About This Chapter
In this chapter, Suzuki tells us that he and the other demons did not see that the monster was coming. He says that he had planned to attack the two of them by himself, but that they would be on their guard, ready for him. Suzuki says that if he had come alone, he would have been defeated. He adds that he came to the festival with his friends in order to escape the clutches of the two monsters. He tells them that they are all monsters, and that he knows this because if he came alone, they would all be on his guard. He explains that he waited patiently for them to open their eyes at some point, so that he would be able to strike them. He then says that even if they do not have a heart, he will kill them all if they oppose him.
