As the battle rages on, Desdemona's spirit is beginning to break free from its gear, and he begins to run away from the battle. He is followed by his son, who has just beaten his father in the fight, and who is grateful for his help. He tells his father that he has done a good job, and Desdemonas thanks him for his efforts. He then tells his son that the battle is over, and that he should go and fight the monster himself.
