Back at the tavern, the Governess tries to convince Evans to return to the castle. She tells him that the holy knights have taken over the castle and are amassing people to fortify their forces. Evans, she tells him, is the one who is acting strange, hunting down the knights. He tells Evans that his father gave him a present to keep him safe from evil. The Governess says that if they cause a scene, it will put Evans and the other villagers in danger. Evans says that he has already taken precautions to protect himself and the others from harm. He adds that Evans will be participating in a naked dance competition at the festival in the town where the mission takes place
