The chapter opens with Hiroyuki's announcement that he's going to take a break from school to spend time with his fiance, who is getting married. Hiroyuki says that he messed up so badly back in school that everyone in the school is in favor of him for the job. He also says that the whole world has faith in him, and that he can create the right kind of work for the future. Hiroki asks if he likes the cover of the new book, which is being published by Togen and Natsuofuji. He says he'd read the book over and over again, and he can tell that it's a really good book. He asks if she thinks that hardship helped her become a writer, and she says that it definitely did. She says that she thinks it had a big impact on her work. She also says she's happy that the book is out now, because she loves it so much. She tells Hiroki that she'd be happy to be with him if she could, but she says it'll only be normal if she were with her fiance.
