Okay, Shmoopers, we're back in the middle of the action, and Shmooper is feeling pretty good about himself. He's got a new job, and he's feeling a lot better about himself, too. He wants to start hanging out more with his girlfriend, and she's the one who's been nagging him to do it. He doesn't want her to leave him, but he also wants her to stop nagging him about her. He tells her that he'll do everything in his power to stop her from getting drunk, and that she'll have to pay for his drinks, too, if she wants to hang out with him. He also tells her about the other girls in the neighborhood who are going to school in the next few years, and how they're going to be the next big thing in improv. He says they'll all get together and make a play together, and the narratorers is all, "Hey, what's up with that?" .
