The next morning, Hirokazu wakes up to find that his butt is on display in front of him. He tells his friend that he's going to take the necklace to the shop where he bought it and fix it so that it won't be on display again. He's not sure if he wants to propose to her or not, but he does want to show her how much he cares for her. He asks her if she'll let him propose, and she says that she'd like to wait a bit. She tells him that she works the early shift at the bar the next day, and that she found a nice looking place to work. She says she's trying to cut back on her alcohol consumption, but she doesn't know what to say. She asks him if he'll be free to go to the bakery today, and he says yes. He also tells her that he heard that she was having a bad time at the cookie shop, but that she didn't have the battery on her phone to call her back. She's on her way to recovery, he says, but her superiors are making her life hell. He says he was there, too, when the harassment got really bad, and they took steps to fix it at the bakery. He adds that they're also welcome to come back to work anytime. He wants to tell her that things are hiding between them, and since they are family, they can't say anything to each other.
