The next day, the two of them go to school together, and the two guys chat about their school days. They're both psyched to see each other, and they're all excited to meet each other's friends. They ask each other about their club, the literature club, and whether or not they have any books they'd like to read. The two guys are psyched to have a friend from the States, since that's where he'd be able to hang out with them. They also talk about how sad they are that they didn't have time to chat during the break, since they have class the next day at noon.
