About This Chapter
It's been a month since Viola and Valeria's last meeting, and they're still hanging out at the cafe. Viola is bummed that she hasn't changed much in her life, but she's glad to see her. She's joined a drama club, and the dead line for the play is coming up the next week. Viola says she joined because she was interested in writing a script, but the drama club doesn't seem to have much going for it right now. Viola tells her mom that Valeria and Viola are seeing someone, and that she thinks it's a bad idea for Viola to make Valeria sad. Viola thinks that lovers can't really stay together forever, since they've got to decide whether or not they'll get back together. Viola's not so sure, though, and says that she'd rather Valeria stay with someone who's determined to make her happy than with a guy who just wants to hang out with her for a while. Viola asks if she can pick up Valeria from the cafe, but Valeria says she'll have to wait until she gets back from work. She also asks if Valeria has a script lined up for her, and she says no, but that's okay because it'll be in the works this week.
