The next day, Mina and Tomouchi leave the festival and head back to the hotel. Mina confesses that she's in a bad mood. She's not sure what to do with herself. She doesn't want to lose her job, her family, her friends, or even her love. She wants to be happy. She tells Mina that she can't give in to her feelings. Mina admits that she tried to keep her feelings bottled up, but now that she realizes how she feels, she realizes that it's too late. Mina says she'll go out with Tomeuchi, but she'd have to dance with someone else. Mina tells her mom that the guy she went out with at the festival was so close to her that she couldn't even take her eyes off him. She says she tried her best to get closer to him, but he just dumps her right after. Mina is shocked that he would do this to her, since he's such a nice guy. She also says that she thinks he'd be a jerk to her if he found out about her crush. Mina thanks her mom for going to the festival, and she thanks him for being so nice to her. She admits that even though she was really happy when he found her out, she still has a hard time letting go of her feelings for him.
