In this chapter, the young narrator is exposed as the victim of a stalking scheme. He is being followed by a stalker who has sent him an anonymous e-mail and who has been waiting for him every day since he left work. The narrator's parents have suffered greatly as a result of the stalking, and he has gone to see a doctor, who has revised the anti-stalking law.
