The chapter opens with a conversation between Hiroshi and Hiroshi's father. Hiroshi tells Hiroshi that he's worried about his daughter, since she's from the States. He's also worried about the fact that Hiroshi was raised in the States, so he wants to make sure that she doesn't get into trouble if he tries to flirt with her. He also wants to know if Hiroshi has stolen any of his things, since he thinks it's a good idea for a kid to steal things from a friend. He says he did, but Hiroshi didn't beat him or anything. The chapter ends with Hiroshi talking to Hiroshi about how happy he is to be home. He asks if he can take a bath first before dinner. He wants to remember the guy he was with the day before. The guy's name is Alex, and he asks Hiroshi to introduce him to some of the other guys in the group. He then asks if they can hang out together the next time they're free. The next time Hiroshi is free, he says, he'll introduce them all to each other. He tells Hiroshima that he doesn1t think Alex is a bad guy, but he does think that he asked if he could introduce them to one of the guys in orbit. He adds that he told Alex to talk to him himself, but that he didn1t want to set him up with the guy. When Hiroshi gets angry, he tells himself that he shouldn1t have been so angry earlier. He apologizes for being so angry, and says that he was just trying to make her feel better. He kisses her on the lips at the camp, because he wanted her to feel the way he did.
