In this chapter, we are introduced to a new character named Ashihara. He is a student in Hiroshi's school, and he has just returned from his first day back at school. He has been writing a journal, which Hiroshi has given him as a present. He tells Ashihar that he will be returning to school after the journal is filled. He also tells her that Hiroshi was raped by Kiriya sensei, and that he has been suspended from the school.
