The narrator apologizes to Momo for not telling him sooner. He admits that he still used her to fill the hole in his heart, but that he was happy when she told him the truth. He tells her that he has fallen for a lot of other people, but now that he knows that she loves him, he wants to be her friend. He asks her to let him into her heart. He remembers the steps of the folk dance, and says that he hasn't done it since grade school. He says that if he hadn't been on the trip, he wouldn't have let her go. He apologizes for being a coward, and he says he's really sorry.
