The chapter opens with Hiroshi's return from his trip to Europe. Hiroshi tells us that he's back home, and that he just wanted to see his friend. He's not sure what's been going on between him and his friend, but he doesn't care. He tells Hiroshi that they're friends, and they should hang out together after Hiroshi gets home. He asks if there's anything going on at his friend's house, and Hiroshi says there'd be nothing wrong with that. He also tells her that he came to see her because he wanted to talk to her about something, and she's too busy to tell him what it is. She tells him that she came over because she was worried that Hiroshi was going to meet up with someone else. She also says that she'd been hanging out with him all the time, acting all sympathetic about his long-distance relationship. She says that if Hiroshi had the time today, he could have met up with her, too. She's sure that it's Hiroshi who's trying to cheat on her, but she can't figure out why he would want to. She asks if he'd written any more, and he says he hasn1t. She doesn1t know why he didn1t tell her about the meeting. He says that he was just worried about her and her friend.
