The chapter opens with a conversation between Lithu and tului. Lithu asks if everything is all right with the girl. She says that everything is going well, and that she's not worried about anything. He tells her that he's worried about her being separated from him for three days, and she says that she was worried about him, too. He says that he was worried that he would be lonely again, and Lithu thinks that's probably true. He asks if they should all just enjoy the meal together, and he suggests that they play a little game together. He wants to know why they don't just play a game together, instead of worrying about the future. He's glad that they're playing a game, because it's the only way to get out of a bad situation. He wonders if the girl is going to break up with Lithu now that he has to worry about her. He doesn't want her to break him up right now, he says, because that would be like encouraging her to do something wrong. He then asks if he can write to the two women, and they tell him that they didn't mean to give him bad advice, but that they just wanted to help him out.
