Miikoto says that Mikita came to check on him, which Mikita is happy about, since he's been driving too hard lately. She also says that he should act cool, because he'll still get a cold, and she tells him not to cry, since it's better to be a pumpkin carriage than a cold. She adds that she won't stay at the party, since she'll have to go back to her job as a teacher. She asks him if he wants to smoke, and he says no, and then she asks him why he came to cheer her up. He says he'd rather live with his pain than live with her. He asks her if she wants him to stay for a long time, and when she says no he says, "how long you're going to stay as a kid for?"
