About This Chapter
"Bue-bar," the narrator says, "is a nice bath" . He tells us that he wants to wash the grime off his body before the end of the year. He says that Harima made him lose a fight at an athletics fair, but he made up for the loss by performing a wrestling match at a cultural fair. When the narrator asks if he's talking about the princess, he says that he already told her that he'd refuse the dinner invitation. He asks if she's here, and she says that she'll be late for dinner. He wants to know why she doesn't answer his questions. She's always late, he tells us, but she can't stand still. He's in trouble up in his ears, and he needs to apologize. The narrator says that if he went to the princess's house, she'd force him to sign a proposal agreement. The truth is, the princess is the kind of person who would force him into signing such an agreement. So, the narrator is worried. He needs to send a text message to her, telling her that the servant who picked her up mistook her for the princess and sent her back home.
