It's morning, and Iori is out in the sun. She's bummed that she hasn't heard from her sister, Tenma, who's been out with the princess in the blizzard. Iori tells her that she's so sorry that she didn't wait all night for her sister to come home, but she doesn't want to be a bad person. She tells Iori that she would be a terrible person if she waited all night to see her sister. Irri interrupts her soliloquy to ask what she thinks of her sister's actions. She says that she thinks that she is selfish, and that she makes herself look bad when she does things that don't take into account the feelings of other people. She compares herself to a spoiled child who has no idea that the world around him is giving him all the help he needs. She wonders if she'll ever be able to get back to her old self.
