In this chapter, we learn that Harima's friend, Tenma, has rented a room in a "high-class apartment" . Harima is now sixteen years old and has no idea what he's doing there. He doesn't even know that tenma is a girl. He's wearing a fake beard and a fake sunglass to hide his identity. He tells Harima that the girl is a friend of tenma's who asked him to carry a "friend's" gift for him. He asks Harima if he still has middle school education, and Harima tells him that it's not a business of hiss. He also says that he has no reason to wear the beard and the sunglass. He says that the reason he wears them is because he wants to "beat watch" on tenma. He warns Harima to stay away from tenma, who is "soft and cushiony" , and to hit him in the head if he does not want to get hurt. He goes on to say that he is in love with tenma and that when suddenly she sees him, she won't be able to stop him.
