In this chapter, Mito tells us that he's going to throw a wild party at his friend's house tonight. He's got a bunch of friends over, and he wants to ask them some questions about their love lives. Mito asks one girl if she has a special bottle of liquor that she can take with her to the party. The girl says that she has one, but she's not sure if she'll be able to hold it herself. She also says that her friend, Akira, is worried that Mito is about to fall in love, so she mumbles things like "I love you" and "I'm afraid of falling in love." Mito says that he doesn't think Mikoto would use such a trick, because the trick isn't really about love at all: it's about the beating of a heart from fear. MiTo tells Mito that he should just believe in himself and go out into the world and crush on anyone he wants.
