In this chapter, we are introduced to Harima and her sister, San. Harima is on her 26th floor apartment, waiting for her sister to come back from the underground. When she does arrive, she is surprised to find that she has been tied up in a carriage and has made her way out of the window. She realizes that she is on the same floor as the protagonist of the story, Tsukamoto, and is at a loss for what to do next. She asks her sister what she should do, and she tells her that she should draw a "rough sketch" of a "manga including dialogue" . She tells her sister that if they do anything unexpected, they will know that they are "just look alikes" , and that she will make it to Kshien as fast as possible. She then tells her mother to leave the "base ball" to her, and says that he will "naturally get stronger" as a result of his confrontation with the protagonist
