In this chapter, we meet Hiroshi, who works as a waiter at a bar in Dojibiron. He tells us that he's been waiting for the spring fair to come to town. He says that the fair will be more fun for the kids, but that there will be less to do for the adults. Hiroshi says that he and the college student, Suzuki, have been hanging out together all this time, and that Suzuki has been looking out for Hiroshi. When Hiroshi asks him why he has come to the fair, he says that it's because he wants to be alone with his girlfriend.
