Tsukamoto tells us that she's been assigned to the same class with her friend, J . She's bummed out because she can't figure out how to sit near her friend , but she doesn't really care about the assignment. She just wants to go home and have a good time with her family. The narrator chimes in that the assignment isn't so bad after all, since it's just luck that's determining who gets to sit next to the teacher . Aww, that'd be nice if you could just go to bed and forget about it for a bit. Tsukuma tells us she'll have to wait until the next day to figure out what to do. She tells us the assignment was announced on the news the other day, and she was so excited to see it that she decided to change her mind about sitting next to her friend. She flips out when she sees that she has to draw a number to get to the front of the room where the teacher is sitting. She wants to be able to sit in front of him, but her eyesight is getting worse, so she decides to move to the back.
