This chapter opens with a discussion of the album. The group is discussing how they've managed to get the entire class in on the secret of the secret album. They're all impressed with how well the project is going, and they're excited to show it off to the rest of the class. This is the first time we've heard about the album, and we're not sure what to make of it. We're guessing that it's about as good as it gets. The guys are psyched to show off the finished product, but they don't know how to express their excitement in a way that doesn't sound like a school production. The guy who's supposed to be the leader of the team says that he's a "lifetime loner" and a "genius tactics master" . He's also known as "the face" and "the ramen monkey" , which is a reference to the fact that he is a self-described "suicide punk" who collects women's bras and brassieres. The team has been asked to go tokyoto to rescue a client named Harima Kenji, who has been kidnapped by former members of the elite special forces in England. Harima's captors turn out to be ex-members of the special forces, and Harima is one of them. Everyone's talking about how Harima and her lover were supposed to get together and make a movie together, but now that Harima isn't there anymore, everyone's got a different idea of what's going on. The whole class is talking about the kiss scene in the movie, but that's not going to happen.
