It's almost Haruki's birthday, and now that he's seventeen, it's time for him to throw a party for his friends. He wants to invite Haruki to the party, but he also wants to know what's going on with jingama and harimaji since they're both doing editorials for the Weekly Shonen Shimbun. Haruki asks if there's a way to draw without having to go to school all the time. He's not sure how to do it, he says, because he doesn't know how to draw at all. But he does know that he and Haruki are both human beings, and that they practice their art before they get it right. They're going to have a party, Haruki says.
