In this short scene, bub-mui hub tells Tsukamoto that he wants to run away, but that tani-san will not let him do so. They decide that they will try to get the two of them to meet again, and Tsukuma says that he looks like he has "bounced back" from what happened. . They discuss whether or not they will go back to the cram school, and chan says that she looks like she has "lost touch with reality" after what happened, and that she will be studying for Oxford with a tutor. He says that it is his decision, after all, that he does not want to see her again, but he is okay with that, as long as he is not pushy. Tsukumoto says that if he were pushy, she would hate him, and he will just hate him if he tries to push him too hard. He adds that he was being careful, and when he finally thought he had found someone, he just says "good bye" to him. He feels grateful to have found someone who will help him achieve his goals, and asks Tsukimoto to bring him a bike so he can run away.
