# 44 ISLAND IN THE SUN
This is a locked chapter# 44 ISLAND IN THE SUN
About This Chapter
Mito and Co. are on the beach, and Mito tells Co. that they can see the island from here. Mito is worried that they will be swept out to sea, but Co. reassures her by saying that it is an offshore island, and that starvation will soon be on the horizon. Co. tries to convince Mito that she can swim, but Mito says that she does not have the strength to do so. She tells Mito not to start thinking about how to get the people of the island to notice them, as they will soon die of starvation. Mikoto tries to persuade Co. to put a letter in the water to let the tide carry it to the shore, but he says that he does not know how to do that. She suggests that they make a raft and ride the idiot back to the island. She says that if the tide is with them, they do not have to worry about making a raft. She wonders if there is a better plan. She asks Co. if he is lost in thought, and he replies that he has never seen him looking so serious. He says that maybe he is not so bad, as he was his sempai when he was a third-year student. He wants to go to a university like him, but the exam will be so difficult that he will not be able to go
