Harima says that the mountain has not blessed them with enough food for the year, and that they will have to find another way to eat the beast. He tells Harima that he has found a black rock that is stronger than any other rock he has ever seen. He says that if they use the rock, they will be able to make their weapons stronger. He also tells the others to follow him away from the mountain and kill the beast with the rock.
