It's getting late, and the power has gone out. The only thing that keeps the whole thing going is the fact that they have a new hibachi in the store. They're going to have to get a new heater, but they'll be okay. They haven't been in this area for a long time, so it's not a big deal. The heater will get them through the night, and they won't freeze if they don't get out of there. They can't open the door of the house, so they've got to go outside to find a body to save them. They have to wait five hours for the heater to come back on, and now they have to figure out a way to get outside. They finally figure out that the hair on the mask is that of Michan, and that it looks like the one that's on yakumo's head. They know that they're not going to be able to see each other again, and so they decide to leave the house. They find out that Tamura is sick, and then they see that the mask on Michan looks just like that of Tamura's father. They realize that Michan is going to die anyway. Michan wants to know what's wrong, and Tamura says that he'll never see Michan again because he's a hallucination, and Michan has no right to say anything to him that he wouldn't have to say to anyone else. He wants to be with Michan because he wants to say something to her that he couldn't just say to Tamura, and he wants her to tell him if she's bored with him, and if he'd like to see her.
