At the end of the chapter, we find out that the girl has changed boyfriends once again, this time with a guy named Hiroyuki. Hiroyuki has been telling her how much he loves her and how he will never say a word of love to her unless she really feels it. We learn that Hiroyuki got a lot of requests for his number at the party they went to, and that he sent her a text message, but he doesn't seem to be in love with her yet. The girl wonders if she's more of a nice girl than she thought, and she gets a message from Hiroyuki saying that he's sorry to hear that she forgot about him the last time she saw him. He's been talking about him for three years now, and the girl can't stop thinking about him. She says that she and Hiroyuki are going to catch Hiroyuki's father's car when they get back from the party, so they should go out and surf together. She tells Hiroyuki that she went to all of the trouble to bring him here, so have fun, and he tells her to go with her friends and surf. He also tells her that she should have one of her cute little sisters, because he knows that she cant swim. He says that he knows she'll kill him if she tells her dad about it, so he wants her to come along with him on the ride back to the party. She agrees to go along, even though she knows that it's not a good idea, because it'll make her love Hiroyuki even more. She also tells him that he taught her how to surf, but that he also taught her self-confidence, which she'd never had before.
