In this short scene, Nemo explains that he has faked his own death so that he can return to the time when he met his wife. He tells Nemo that the time has passed, and that he and his wife have come to the past to visit the grave of their dead daughter, whom they believe to be dead. Nemo tells his wife that he will never see her again, and leaves the rest to her.
