He would never betray them, says the master, because he was born in the city. The master says that he would have killed lucia, the others, and even shakuma if he had the time. He also says that there's a new development that's been happening lately, and that he'd like to protect time until it's too late. He thinks that shakuma is with miltz, or with dc, but he doesn't know. He wonders if haja would be able to fight shakuma with his magic. He's glad that he hasn't changed. He tells the master that everyone in the town has been affected by the events of the last few days. He remembers when he left, when he said he would kill etherion girls or innocent people for some "weird reason just felt wrong" . They were willing to kill innocent people to "protect time" , he says. He adds that he learned many things from the town, and learned the truth, and can slay innocent people in pursuit of justice .
