The next morning, the three of them head back to the diner, where they find that they've run out of food. They're worried about what they'll do next, but they're also excited about the fact that they can go back and forth between the future and the past. The three decide to go back to their old stomping grounds, but before they do, one of them tells the other two that the future doesn't exist anymore, and that they should guide humanity to its true future. The bug girl, who's hanging out of a ceiling, is the only one who can beat the bug girl. The two of them decide to use magic to kill her, and then they head off to find the other three.
