Hiromi is healed of his arm injury, and he's ready to go back to battle. He meets the captain of the blue guardians, who tells him that they've brought the time-space staff with them. The captain says that they brought it because they want to use it against the enemy. Hiromi tells the captain that he shouldn't trust the government or pirates, because they're using it to keep them from interfering in the war. The Captain says that he wants to believe in the government and pirates, and that he doesn't want to trust them. He tells Hiromi that the battle is going to be a long one, because the enemy has sent out a bunch of ships to try and catch the ship that's carrying the staff. The only ship that can stop the enemy is the one that Hiromi has brought with him. He asks the captain to launch the ship from an "ideal blind spot" so that the enemy can't see it.
