The rave master and his son meet for the first time in ten years. The father and son reminisce about their childhoods, and the father tells his son that he's sorry that he got into a scuffle with the king. He says that he has a bad habit of getting "a little single-minded" when he gets into a fight, and he can relate to his son's reaction. He tells the father that his son is now the rave master, and that it makes him feel "all warm and fuzzy." The father tells the son that the day time "intersects" with the day of creation of new dark brings. He explains that on this day, the king creates as many new raves as he can. He also explains that the raves can only be made one time a year, and it's only that day that they're made. It's too bad that he didn't find out sooner, because all the pieces of the puzzle are finally coming together. He asks his father why he hasn't been able to find the place where they've been searching for so long. He wonders if his father used to be a part of the demon card, but he doesn't know. He's also wondering if his dad knows the king, because he used to know the king as a member of demon card. He wants to know why he couldn't have come home to search for the place, and how he knows that the king knows his father. The raves were made on the same day that the war ended, and one year later, they were both born and given the same name. They're both parents of demon cards, and they are the fathers of the new rave masters. They plan to celebrate the day with their deaths, and then they'll talk about the future.
