In this chapter, the mermaid raves about her love for a mermaid maid named elie. She tells the reader that she cannot leave a girl like elie to fight alone. She says that she will be at the mermaid festival and that they can see the battle together. The mermaid says that elie thinks she can beat him because she has insufficient combat experience and because her attacks do not work against wind. She also says that the mermaid is sealed inside a bubble of water and that she can never break through the bubble. She adds that she still refuses to let haru out of her spell and that the spell will wear off in a day or two. She claims that humans and sentes can never be friends, but she says that it is too soon for haru to give her up.
