In this chapter, the master raves about the futility of trying to fight a dragon in a wasteland. He tells the audience that the only way for a dragon to win a trial is to fight it in an official place, like a shrine. He also warns that if the dragon fails in the trial, he will live as a beast. He says that if he can't bring the beast under his control, he'll end up like the one in the wasteland. The master then tells the crowd that he's going to kill them all if they don't behave. He's not going to fight until they're good girls and behave properly. He warns them that if they fight naked, the dragon will be so dis-tracted that he won't be able to pass. He doesn't want them to rush into the fight, because soon they'll be transformed into wild dragons.
