In this short scene, we learn that Doryu is absorbed in the darkness of night, and that he is in the form of a demon lord. This is the first time that we've seen Doryu in his true form, and it's clear that he's not happy about it. He tells us that he once was a king in the realm of the mystics, but that he fell into sin when he was trampled upon by humans. Now, he says, he has fallen into the true form of the demon, and he wants to leave the city of Olbesk, where he has been living, and go to the underworld. He's going to kill all the humans who share his crime, he tells us, and then he'll kill himself, too.
