In this short scene, we learn that Hiromi has learned the art of the light-affinity sword with the help of the "rabble of wisdom" . Hiromi tells us that he didn't learn the sword before because he wasn't sure how to use it, but now that he's learned it, he can actually use it in battle. He says that only he and Hiromi can use the sword in battle, because only they know how to wield it. He doesn't think the light sword will work against him, though, because he has a "third person" who can't be counted on to know what's going on, unless Hiromi dies. The light sword isn't anti-dark, he says, because there's "justice" in both light and darkness inside of him. He also says that he knows of the etherion woman, and he'll kill her first if Hiromi does not sacrifice her. He's not sure if she understands what it's like to die, but he promises to kill her if he can.
