In this chapter, we learn that the demonoids have been defeated and that one of the boys's father has given up his life to save the day. We learn that this is not the end of the story, though, and that the boy's name is Petruchio, and he is the son of a man who was a member of the Ku Klux Klan. We also learn that he has come to live with his family in the United States because he wants to be reunited with his father, who was killed in the battle against the Germans
