In this chapter, we learn that the "monsters" of the previous chapter were not monsters at all, but rather "creatures" of a race called the "dragon race." In other words, they're not really humans, but "dragons." We learn that iulius and the rest of the dragon race lost to the "creature" in the first place, and now that they've lost, they need to find a way to "stop the attack." They're going to send the boys to find him, and then they'll go back to "this is shuda," where they can "find no one here" and "this place is treasure." We're guessing that's a reference to Nemo's ship, which was wrecked in the storm, and that the ship's crew didn't know where it was. We also learn that branch is an assassin, and i'll tell you why: she's with the "resis-tance" group, which is trying to capture iulious. She's also an ally of the "etherion girl," who's in the village with the blue guardians. The blue guardians aren't the same group as the dragon-race, so they'd better be on their best behavior, because the "earthion girl" is in town, and the "blue guardians" team 25 is in charge of capturing her.
