About This Chapter
This chapter opens with a flashback to the events of the previous chapter, which took place in the dungeon. The flashback tells the story of how the three men escaped from the dungeon, and how they came to the place where they are now. The three men find the body of Enobaruchi next to a bottle of poison, and the doctor tells them that he has had a heart attack. The doctor tells the men that they should not worry, as they are safe, and they are led to a beautiful place called "the capital of darkness" . The light of the "crystals" has gone dark, and Enogaruchi tells the others that he will not let the world go dark. He tells them not to worry about him, as he is the absolute ruler of the universe, and he will never die. He says that if they doubt him, he will take them to him in hell. He also says that the age of his absolute rule will never come, as long as he remains around. The men are glad that everyone is okay, and that they have struck down the twilight sword. They are also glad that the threads of the sword are still attached to the body, because if they were to die, their bodies would be crippled by the pain of the wound. They decide that they will fight, and then they will be friends again.
