The next morning, Hiro and elie meet with the others, and Hiro tells them that he has found a way to stop the etherization of the planets. He tells them he will protect them even if it means killing him. Hiro tells the others that he is not so foolish as to think that he can defeat them. He asks them to leave him alone, but they refuse, saying that Hiro is too powerful to be defeated by them. They tell him that Hiro's seal of power makes him even more powerful than they are. They explain that they had not noticed Hiro inscribing the magic circle in mid-air until Hiro was too late. Hiro says that they are safe, and that they will return to normal. He gives them the key to unlocking the keys to the future.
