In this chapter, we learn more about the events of the previous chapter, which took place just before the battle between the two armies. We learn that the battle was won by Hiromi, who was able to use his "Type 61" magic to defeat the enemy. Hiromi's magic was so powerful that he could destroy the enemy's soul, but he was unable to destroy his own soul, so he killed himself. The battle was lost, but Hiromi is still alive.
